Under Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008, you must have the permission Allow Logon Locally set in order to submit a job to all machines that are in a SAS grid. If you do not have this permission, the job fails and the following error message appears in the SAS log:
ERROR: Could not start grid job or grid job failed.
The LSF_TOP\log\sbatchd.log file contains the following message:
getTokenForUser_: LogonUser(userid,DOMAIN) failed error=1385: error 1385: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
You can circumvent the problem by adding the following parameter to the lsf.conf file that resides in the LSF_TOP\conf directory:
With this parameter, the user ID that is submitting to the SAS grid must have the permission Logon as a batch job set for all machines in the grid.
